About edith dora rey:
I was born in Switzerland and immigrated to Canada as a child. I graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design (Honours Painting, Vancouver) + Nova Scotia College of Art + Design (Halifax). My work has been shown in Vancouver, Seattle, Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, New York, Lausanne and Zurich. My daily paintings are inspired by my daily goings on in Montreal...my family, my friends, my dog walks especially. This is where I get my daily dose of weather, trees, the Lachine Canal, Mount Royal + amazing alleys...
